Batool AlKhaja

Batool Alkhaja is a senior financial services and regulatory professional with more than 24 years of experience across financial regulation, investment business, capital markets, fintech, and digital assets.

A former Central Bank of Bahrain regulator, she helped shape Bahrain’s early fintech regulatory framework. She was also a founding team member of Bahrain’s first independent real estate regulator, contributing to its regulatory, policy and governance framework and leading key national initiatives.

Batool has since held senior industry roles spanning regulatory strategy, public policy, government relations and strategic partnerships across the GCC and wider MENAP region. Her experience brings together deep regulatory knowledge with a practical understanding of evolving financial markets and emerging technologies.
